Use the AR 11 online process to change address do it seperately for yourself and your wife. When you have finished submitting new address the system will prompt you asking if you have any pending applications with USCIS. At that time enter the receipt numbers of all pending applications. This will do the needful. You can track the success by checking the case status in few days you can see a soft LUD on your pending applications. Also in few weeks you will receive a letter from USCIS at your new address that tells that they have updated the address. Some folks even call USCIS and verify the address change.

My PD is 08/04/06, and my AP is expiring on June 2nd, I probably will have to travel sometimes June end. I am in a fix if I should go ahead and apply for Ap now. My PD will be current begining June 1st. I heard it may take 1 week to 60 days to get GC after your date becomes current, Do you guys think it's good idea to just apply for AP just in case?

You can say 'Yes', but it will trigger unnecessary questions from IO. I am not sure about the consequences. If I were you, I would say NO as its not full time course and not going to change the status to F1. I beleive you should say 'YES' only if you change to F1 visa in the future.

I have got my I 485 rejectd when i filed during AUG 2007 due to Improper fees but we paid the correct fees.We refiled with saying "Improper Denials of I-485 " and double packed saying byboss mail room. We tryied more than 5 times always we got back saying PD is not current. Please advice me how to proceed on this.

I think the mail room does not handle such mail. You may need to file an MTR. Contact a good attorney - I did read on Sheela Murthy's website that USCIS is improperly handling the July 17th to August 17th 2007 filing as they go by August 2007 fee schedule.
I think if it is a mistake on their side, usually theey return the MTR fees. I am not sure though.
Try contacting DHS Ombudsman's office and see how they can help.
But the first thing I suggest is to talk to a good Attorney.

I am on H1B working as a consultant for a Client company.
My Project is ending this month. I filed my 485, EAD on March 2009 on EB2 Row and PD 2008 Jan through my parent Company.
140 approved long time back.
485 is < 180 days. EAD not yet approved.
I fear potential layoff in case not found a project fast.
Can I know my options. ?

If you have recevied at least AP notice, you can use that for 1 month or so till you get another card..

your regular employment letter that you get from HR should work. There is no special format for POE.

Let us be very clear, we are MORE THAN WILLING to associate with any org that can be beneficial to us. One of the members of IV had established contact with USINPAC and it has been a very fruitful association
If anyone can do the same thing with any other org (could be 'Chinese Physicians Association', or 'Russians in America' or 'Canadians in USA' or even 'Americans for High Skilled Immigrants' - please note that I made up all the names, but please get the gist) please take the inititative and let us know how it goes.
Also note, that even if we associate with an org primarily working for a particular country, all our issues will benefit EVERYONE from every country. It is impossible to press for an amendment like 'Ability to file I485 without regard to visa number for Indian Nationals only'. The US Government doesn't allow that and neither will IV go in that direction.
The keywords here are 'publicity and exposure'. We really need that to protect our amendments in the Senate and the House Conference

I arrived through IAD (Washington Dulles Airport) on 12th morning.
I am on AOS 485 pending, EB3-I.
But entered on H1.
ZERO questions asked or any issues encountered at IAD.
There was only 1 officer assigned to take care of non-US citizens.

I live and work in the state which is under jurisdiction of TSC. I got my PERM approval from Atlanta National Processing Center. But for some weird reason, my attorney has mailed my I-140 & I-485 documents to NSC and it reached there today(07/27/07). My understanding is that my applications should have been sent to TSC directly. I am kind of worried now as my application has reached the wrong service center. Has anyone encountered a similar situation? Is there anything I could do now to address this issue? Even if NSC internally transfers the documents to TSC, will my receipt date be considered as the date they received at NSC? Is there any directive or memo from USCIS regarding this issue? Please advise.
